Forestry Commission Fails Britains Wildlife
http://www.league.org.uk/index.asp
The Forestry Commission England is allowing trail hunts to use animal
based scents which will threaten the lives of foxes. We are calling
upon the Forestry Commission to protect wildlife by only allowing the
use of artificial scents on its land.
Douglas Batchelor, Chief Executive of the League, said: This decision
puts the lives of innocent animals at risk. It is time the Forestry
Commission takes the lead so that all landowners make a commitment to
the preservation of our wildlife and responsible trail hunting.
